District of Columbia Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster

District of Columbia Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (DCVOAD) coordinates planning efforts by local voluntary organizations that respond to disaster. It was incorporated in 1999 as a non-profit corporation to establish a process for involving member organizations in the mitigation of, preparedness for, response to and recovery from major disasters, in concert District of Columbia, federal and private sector emergency operations plans.

Member organizations include:
